DILIP KUMAR is no:1 Amitabh has said in so many interviews that he use to copy Dilip Kumar and he is proud of that.

its Amitabh's modesty that he considers Dilip Kumar greatest. no wonder Amitabh is a great human being too :)

What about Rajesh Khanna? Amitabh has always acknowledged Rajesh Khanna as the super star? No one has so many hits to his credit & very few flops!

anupam kher should be right there too. he is awesome plus, i would also like to put smita patil there, dont know why she is not there. and definitely amrish puri, he was always brilliant whatever he did.
honestly, there are a lot of good indian actors but really bad directors and all these great actors dont ever get to reveal their real potential for a lack of good movies and directors thereof.

its list of actors not actresses. definitely Smita patil is at no.2 in my list after Nutan :)

There are good directors also , what we dont have is a good audience...who will take such films to great success...we still keep on going for masala films and make them huge hits...we need to change as an audience first
