consider having her thick and segmented (and very very negrito) lips extensively *modified* with surgery to overcome the fear of being mistaken for an Afro American by white Americans !

Indians again bow to western imperialism: why go to a so-called white-race ceremony where you are a non-committal?
Let us create an environment where the West will bow to us

Is it customery to dress up in exposing dressess at Oscar for the beauty queens. Or if they are so happy to expose then why not in India also so that we can also enjoy the beauty which they willingly show to foreigners.

I fully agree with you. They are happy to imitate the west but forgot to highlight the Indian style of dressing and Indianness there. Any way she is not much wanted there.

whats so special about her she is just aping other western stars, although it comes natural to them but as an indian she should be more showcasing the indian culture rather than be one among the western crowd.

Not every occasion is about show casing Indian culture. A better part of our ability is actually about assimilating other cultures effortlessly.

You represent the mindset of so many NRI's who are living abroad but are stuck in a cocoon..

BTW, I don't think we claim we understand Indian Culture to show case it. Wearing a saree, or sporting a bangle doesn't make us representatives of the Indian culture. Wake up
