Bangalore Natkal casting is the issue Sri Divya,Samantha etc are not great actors,except for Parvathi who reprised the same role or Sharanya (both were good)rest of the cast were just mouthing dialogues without any intensity....the movie should not have been remade or should have been done with a suitable cast maybe the same cast who didi Bangalore Natkal and the same director!
