Yes, so were the Williams sisters and Agassi also (I guess) in tennis. But it is wrong to preach about following your dreams in your earlier movies and make a movie which shows you forcing your daughters to act as you want :)

but you also said it is wrong to preach about following your dreams in your earlier movies and now making a movie which shows a father forcing his dream on his children..
in other words if you are objecting that aamir should not make a movie in which he portrays a dad who forces his dream on his children after playing a character in earlier movie where the character says follow your dreams...i have objection to THAT...

now it is actually the character in the 3 idiots which ''preaches'' not aamir khan....even if we assume that aamir khan preaches it does it mean he can no longer play a character which does not share that belief?
if he ''preaches'' a particular thing does it mean he becomes ineligible to play a character which does not share the same philosophy or beliefs?

according to your line of thought if some producer makes a wonderful movie about how superstitions are bad and one should be rational etc. etc...then he automatically loses the right to make a horror film or a film with a bhoot in it...why? it is just showbiz...it is just telling different stories...

JJWS hd a great_acting, wonderful_story, entertaining_screenplay and outstanding_music... Pehla_Nasha was easily the best_song of decade n credit goes to great_Jatin_Lalit_n_Majrooh :)

Regarding the point about Indian athletes going for broke. They have to. Who knows when they will get another chance. If they are able to pull if off they strike gold literally. Indian athletes cannot be faulted on this count. But win or lose they have to keep going and strive to go farther and higher.
Where Lagaan did not may be Dangal will i.e. win Oscar for best foreign language film. It is not that a movie can be considered great only if it wins an Oscar or that the Oscars are be all and end all of cinema. But still it would be nice if Dangal wins Oscar gold.
