As is the regular trend of Bollywood, good movies hardly ever becomes hit. 99% flops. Its to some producers credit that knowing the fact they are still ready to make good movies. Sadly, people are not really interested in true stories. Madari, Budhia Singh should have atleast got an average run so that more producers make good movies. Anyway, thats business. Probably the Govt. can buy the film Budhia Singh and screen it free in all schools for children. Actually, it is movies like this that children need to see and not Sultan or Dishoom or Kabali which propogates nothing except violence. The Marathi and Kerala audience are better. Atleast they encourage good made movies.

It seems they are talking about hindi dubbed version. Even there other websites say that the film had made decent profit for the cost for which the dubbed territory was purchased.
