I wonder why those people are not protesting although acting in films is such a grueling feat that Mayur Patole is made to suffer. In spite of such cruelty to Mayur Patole, the film is awarded Best Children's Film at the 63rd National Film Awards.

Based on the complaint made by Budhia and his mother, Biranchi Das spent a week behind bars on charges of hurting Budhia.

Budhia now says that Biranchi sir did not beat him up. Budhia and his mother are now banking on the film's success to help them for the future.

History of Budhia Singh
by srutiranjan Puhan on Aug 05, 2016 02:37 PM

As a person of same state of Budhia Singh,I know this lad of 6 years had been discovered by great judo coach Biranchi Das & all the credit will go to him for enlightening of this lad but it's unfortunate he was murdered & henceforth Budhia Sing got neglected,Govt of Odisha have helped him to divert his poverty but no special care to stand up his glory, any way this lad has great hope to participate in Olympics. So Govt.of India should come forward to provide all sorts of help to fulfil his dream

Olympic Budhia
by Ashwin on Aug 04, 2016 01:59 PM

I do not know why he has not been sent for Rio Olympics 2016? Is there any minimum age for Olympics? Nadia Komanci was 14 when she she got Gold for Gymnastics in Montreal (probably 1968) Why India did not send him for Rio is a wonder. He could have participated in all Marathons & earned Gold for INdia. Anyway let Budhia not be dragged into dirty Indian politics and miss next Olympics. All the best to Budhia.
