BRAND AMBASSADOR
by sampath mohapatra on Apr 27, 2016 06:25 PM

A Brand Ambassador for a prestigious event such as the Olympics has to have a impeccable reputation. Can Salman claim to have that? Is box office money the only criteria for judging a actor or actress? Has he got any National Award in the field of acting at least? Then how can he be appointed as a Brand Ambassador

Rio Olympics: 'Give respect to Salman Khan
by RAJESH KOCHAR on Apr 27, 2016 06:02 PM

we should welcome the appointment of Salman Khan instead of making a hue and cry. He is also an Icon who can motivate and inspire the present and coming generations of sportsman. He is one among us who have mass following and can contribute hugely by his massive efforts in the field of sports also. We Indians have developed a habit of criticizing anything. This is a very big responsibility which a public face like Salman will certainly discharge to the best of his abilities. This is a matter of our Nation.. buddies please support Salman...

Salman Khan don't need money to buy any post. He is more popular than any of the sportsman in the country and he can bring lots of publicity and sponsorship and finance to the sports and the sportsmen and can improve the facilties given to sorts men. Why none of the people who criticise appointment of Salman has ever raised their voices against the officials of sports and olympics who enjoy the luxury at the expenses of sportsmen who bring glory to the country ? All this years we have found more officials travelling abroad for olympics and other games than the sportsmen without contributing anything to the sports.

Salman Khan is not criminal and he is acquitted by the High court in hit and run case. He should not be branded as criminal unless he is convicted by the court.

Not necessarily. Court is dependant on witnesses/evidences. If some ordinary person had killed , same evidences/witnesses would have been accepted and would have been punished. There are many aspects.
