Only perpetual trophies should be awarded, a person has to win it three times to keep it. Returning of awards should be allowed only if the person returns the cash award with interest, the expenses incurred by the organization giving the award for inviting the awardee, their flight charges, hotel stay, transportation, etc. If everything is returned then it has a meaning, there was one bloke who gave away the best film award as if he got the award for himself. This has been objected to now by others who worked with him
Most of average sportsman have turned great coaches and mamangers but rarely any great sportsman have become good coach. Even before FTII had many big manes but what was their contribution in terms of administration and was it 100%. So without giving a chance don't judge.

You seem to be BJP Bhakts. But pls. do not force the students with Gajenfra Babu who has no background like Amitabh or Shatrugan Sinha or let us say Anupam Kher or big Directors etc. He has no standings just because he is a BJP pracharak doesn’t entitle him to be FTII Chairman. It’s a big post, I hope you understand. We have to take economical steps which are best in the interest of the nation. For e.g Shiv Sena president Uddhavji Thackeray had said the special package should be extended on priority level to crisis-hit Maharashtra instead of the election-bound state. He can give Bihar 100 lacs Crs or is it a Jhumla for Biharis? He spends or promises without understanding? or a another Jugaad? Till date nothing has been done for Maharashtra farmers farmers they are dying or committing suicide. New people commit big problem to run the Govt, for eg in Maharashtra- Chikki scam- Rs. 206 crores (Chikki Aunty) what hasw happened. Money is gone down the drain. Amazed and suprised that during elections our prime minister Modi said that he will make India corruption free when he comes to power. can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but they cannot fool all the people all the time.
Politics has been a dirty word now.Politicians must do a thorough investigation on it.The word"POLITICS" has become synonymous with "Dirty","Ugly","unholy","Treachery""Hypocrisy"etc.Politicians need to think & analyse.It is possible.At least politicians should leave center of learning.Teenagers lost precious four months of their career.let good sense prevail.
The left theory of struggle path is right path did not work with the students.Unfortunately in the whole episode, the students have last one academic year.
People like Bimal Roy, Gurudatt, Yash Chopra are known for their cinematic prowess !! These were the people, to name a few, who never knew FTII. Where as barring few earlier pass outs like Shatrughan, jaya etc FTII has been a fallow land. Either Anil Dhawan or Navin Nishchol was it's Gold Medalist. Point is that students better rely on their own talent and start studying movie making than playing cheap politics !!
When FTII students withdrew their strike, it was a golden opportunity for the 10 film maker who were anti modi to come into picture. Why the psedo secular film maker make documentary picture of minority people condition in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Trust they dont have courage

Since when students have this "right" to decide who will be head of institute. You had any say when Smt. Pratibha Patil was your president?
