MAGGI has been a trusted brand since last 20 to 25 years -- MD decision to do the AD was not wrong . Todays india has become a cheater one everybody is cheating each other for money . MD should be kept out of the case as she has nothing to do with it . THERE was issue of pesticite in COCOCOLA ad given by Amir Khan . but the brand is still no 1 in india . FOOD quality monitoring for packed food products is the responsibility of COMPANY as well as the govt .
MD had faith in nestle and did the add and got arrested in this issue / Hence forth It should be made mandatory for the companies to show their testing procedures to celebrities for which they are hired for AD s / At Madhuri should have verified the testing and Quality control process of nestle Before giving the AD. At least ALL celebrities Should know that people have more faith in them -- than all political leaders . IT means a lot when Madhuri says something . Better THE LOCAL AND STATE GOVTS carry out monthly visits to food companies To check their quality levels . What is the govt doing .

Anticipating trouble from public and law, it is a smart move by MNC manufacturer who has got the issue deflected (successfully) to a model thereby weakening the whole case.
FDA, if sincere, must ask Nestle to market the same product in its home country, Switzerland, rest of Europe and US and then face the consequences and mete the same punishment it would face in those countries proportionate to Indian population it has fed the poison to.
The company will not only be closed but also the entire team would be behind bars.
