Obviously, it is the Indian media that is referred to.

And Indian women in show business can really escape the prying eyes of the media if they can all troop onto the Cannes red carpet or troop into any spot anywhere in the developed world or for that matter, in any part of the world outside of South Asia !

The media in those parts are never going to take a second look (or perhaps even a first look) at these women anyway !

The picture here, as do all other pictures featuring Indian women and western cameramen at Cannes, amply depicts this fact !
