"A raffish crook watches The Roaring Twenties, and, too weak in English to recite James Cagney’s lopsidedly-delivered lines, settles instead for the film’s famous last words, pointing a kerchief-covered finger at the mirror and saying Gladys George’s line about how her dead flame "was a big shot", thus recreating a voiceover instead of playing a role -- ironically making a wish and jinxing himself all at once." What is that supposed to mean? Is he talking to himself? Seriously, this guy needs to consult someone fast.
movie is very slow and full movie is pictured at night.very boring songs. raveena tondon still has not changed her dress sense. same old hazi mastan story, dock yard, gold biscuits, cabres, gun shootings, twin sisters, old Goa churches, older days BOMBAY,trams. After all these director never concentrated on story, script, music, editing and on characters.earlier days people had time to watch a 3 hrs movie.Devand's BAZI,KALA BAZAR,C.I.D and many more had got success, because of sript, characterization, good music. At the same time SHAKTI SAMANTA'S HOWRAH BRIDGE,CHINA TOWN has got good cabres.HELEN is ultimate for vamp and cabres.Anushka is waste and Ranbir's character does not have weight-age. ver all movies is not up to the mark. There is no comparison of K.N.SINGH and KARAN JOHAR.
