He is better of the three khans. While one khan is crass commercial and self centered, another khan cleverly conceals his duplicity by taking up social causes on small screen. But Salman wears his heart on his sleev. No wonder most believers do not consider him as one among them.
Neverthles he deserves punishment for the crime, even if it was 'accidental'.

he deserves punishment, his family history or characters of his brothers and comparison therewith is unnecessary....
why such doubt, and if there is any such privilege he has, is that to kill people and later try to prove that he is innocent on pretext of social-activities...

the question is why did he change? is that conscious attempt gain sympathy with reference to crime he committed.
if he is changed-man, he should gracefully accept court's verdict, else it goes unsaid that all these 13 years of his life was a drama..
