A great actor and a greater human being. Decency personified on and off the screen. It was Shashi who promoted Amitabh Bachchan as lead actor when there were no takers for him (Amitabh). Shashi you have done a great and memorable job. Your films and acting will be remembered for a long time to come. May your soul rest in peace.
It is ridiculous to compare Rahul Dravid & Shashi Kapoor because the Dravid was hero in his own right whereas Shashi Kapoor is not! Shashi Kapoor always flourished in the shadow of big actors like Amitabh. Shashi never had the ability to pull a film on his own unlike Raj kapoor or Shammi Kapoor. Dravid for the world of cricket is an all time great so often even better than Tendulkar especially during overseas conditions. Had Shashi Kapoor not from the Kapoor Clan, he would not have got Dada Palke award!
it is just unfair to compare this actor with rahul dravid. what is rahuldravid, and what this man is. let him put aside and see what gimmics he can do.
