Same movie by Ravichandran in Kannada is one of best we saw in last decade or so. It is a hit movie with ultimate acting by Ravi and team. I saw Ajay Devgan not matching the caliber of Ravichandran as Ajay acting like action hero forgetting naturality needed for role, fails the Hindi version.

Raja Sen,maybe u didnt like the movie but why so much contradictions in your writing. First you say you have not seen original movie in Malayalam and its remakes yet you say Ajay Devgn pales(rightly though) in front of Mohanlal and Kamal Hassan?! Next you say you have not read Suspect X then how do you know about the reference to Assistant Professor in Suspect X?! Trying to be over smart, you fall on your face as usual.

Raja Sen, Your review reads like you have a personal grudge against Ajay Devgan. Having seen the Malayalam and Tamil versions (unlike you), I went to see the Hindi version today, somewhat influenced by your review. After all, Ajay Devgan looks much younger than Mohan Lal or Kamalahasan, so I was willing to buy your view that he does not look the part etc. But yours is a very biased and misleading review (and this is not the first time, I might say). I think the movie has been made extremely well, with every actor turning in a sterling performance. In my opinion, one of the best movies of the year - and a MUST watch.
