Students should study and make their career...
by jaydeep dhar on Jul 17, 2015 07:19 AM

It is not the duty of the student to decide which chairman has vision for the institute, nor they are qualified to do so. They are supposed to study and make a career in their field. It is a bad signal and act of indiscipline, disobedience and should not be tolerated. Otherwise, this will become practice.

So Gajendra Chauhan must listen to the students. Salman - how about you listening to your own conscience and going to jail for your drunken driving and murder ? But of course, then you will tell the law about your "Being Human" foundation, your being affected by neuralgia (whatever that is) and that the under privileged have no right to sleep on the footpath because you are supposed to drive your imported car on it.

Better keep your mouth shut, instead of pontificating about others' qualifications and capability to head an institute.

What has Gajendra done ??????????????????

FTII funded by Govt and they have right to put people of their choice, when politicians can become head of BCCI or OLYMPICS without playing it then from that sense Gajendra is much much better, he have vast exp. let salman create his own institute and fund it and advise then.

Dear Salman ,
What has Gajendra Chaouhan done that people are asking him tot resign even before performing his duty.

Let him perform. See his capabilities. Than decide if he is worthy for the post or not.

Its very SIMPLE. But people have to understand this first in their head.

That is the problem that he has done NOTHING great.

Leave alone the Salmans and Ranbirs Salman even actors of the calibre of Nawazuddin and directors like Santosh Sivan are asking him to resign.

Just because Nawazuddin is a great actor and Santosh Sivan is a great cinematographer, do they have the credentials to question Gajendra Chauhan's appointment ? A chaiwallah can become our PM, but a person from the film background cannot head the FTII ? How easily we condemn someone without even giving him an opportunity to prove himself. I pity you !!
