Matching with a filmed song and matching lip sync needs really great work and it shows that he knows to make a song with same tune and lip sync in the way he wanted. I think he is the only person to do it in film industry.

Hello donot compare Rehman with Ilayaraja. Ilayaraja songs one can listen for life time. But rehman's only for a period of time.

He is the Legend Maestro Music Composer and AR Rahman is nowhere near and not even 10 percent of Illaiyaraaja and what a great way of honouring him by the Legend Actors.

I am also an Illayaraaja fan and I had grown up listening to his music. Having said that I would say that comparing AR Rahman with him is Unnecessary. AR Rahman belongs to a different generation. Both are great in their own time periods. There is no doubt Illayaraaja's music will stand the test of time and will always be in our soul. But that doesn't mean AR Rahman has to be downplayed for whatever he has accomplished.

Ilayaraja is a genius. Because of Oscar award AR Rahman is talked as equal to Raja. Oscar Award Loses Its pride by not giving the Award To Raja who mesmerized the Indians particularly south Indians who dominated for almost three decades with his music and tunes should not be compared with AR Rahman
