Maestro Ilayaraja is the first Asian to compose Symphony. He was the first composer in India to release a album like symphony few years back namely "How to name it?" and "Nothing but wind". Mr. Hariprasad Chourasia after playing flute part in Nothing but wind he bowed Raja for wonderful composing. He is the only music director to write a music for each and every musician in India. He identifies even one of the 60 violinist makes mistake in "shruthi", so most of the musician admires him... there is long list ....at least now we ahve to salute him...

and the never ending ranting game of extremes.....that is first, last, most, least begins...
Maestro Ilayaraja is the first Asian to compose Symphony, first music director to produce album like symphony decades back namely "How to name it" and "Nothing But wind". After playing for Nothing but Wind Mr. Hariprasad Chourasia bowed Mr. Raja. Few years back, Ilayaraja presented "Oratoria in Symphony style" first of its kind in India. He is the first and only music director / composer in India to write music for all the instruments for his musician. He writes music for all the musician and also in the note he writes the singer name - all things are done during the tune conceiving, he crossed 1000 films, still his songs are with our souls unlike today's composer - lives for few days.... Thre was a period he was composing music for film in a day unlike today's composer finds foreign location to make a tune...

illayaraja, rehman and r.d.burman are all copycats of western classical/pop music. The most originial and best music composer in India is Madan Mohan. No parallels.

Dear Wasim, first please listen to his any of his composition, he had a special love for "Mozart", hence in one of his album he saluted him as "Welcome Mozart". You can have the opinion of Greats like Latha mangeshkar, Asha Bonsle, Mr. Hariprasad etc.. The interlude composition in his songs in early 70 ... the orchestration please listen, without verifying please do not conclude as true music lover this is my request... also one info... his style is mostly Jass... in some case Rock and POP is not there much so your opinion is wrong

Sorry, but this shows your ignorance about Raaja. Please listen to his music pieces and how he has used each and every instrument before judging him. And don't compare musicians.

janas, do not lecture to someone who is a trained pianist. You are the one who is ignorant of western classical music. You do not know ABCD of music and you want to act like an expert. You may like or dislike anyone but do not pass off your likes as facts.

While as partners you could decide to part ways and hence be termed as "Ex", you can't really disown your blood, right? That is why there are no "Ex-Children". In this world there may be illegitimate couple but there are no illegitimate children. That term itself is incorrect. Parent status doesn't necessarily require marriage.
