Freedom of speech and expression , inherently is a double edged sword . It can be used, misused, abused and re-used ( which is i guess the irony of free speech isn\'t it , what one can say , the other can repeat as well !!!) . I think that there has been a lot written about the show ( and quiet rightly , a lot more than necessary) .But , i feel , that the objection was not only for the content ( which is subjective ) , but rather whether the organizers had a censor certificate , which i guess is procedural . The two things are not concurrent, in any way . One is critical , the other is just procedural . I heard , that the seats went at 4000, a piece . Well, for that much amount of money , and given the status of the stars being roasted , the organizers shouldn\'t have overlooked the fact that they required a censor certificate .
Now a days its a fashion status to follow what the rich & famous are doing. Once out of home, they can do what rot and not to earn accolades and money, no matter how down they need to fall and how filthy they need to speak! Surprised to see the who s who of film industry laughing and enjoying on such Ganda Language. Shame on them!
Nice. Stir the hornet's nest and get national wide coverage on mainstream media. Perfectly executed and mission accomplished. Why single out these guys Everyone is doing it nowadays.

Someone from audience need to get to stage and slap them to make the point clear. Simple.

and then the one who slaps them can turn around and say he was just joking. wouldn't that be poetic justice? it would also show whether these people take humour in the same way that they are advising others to do.
