It's a well-known fact that actor Kamal Haasan has the record of having won close to 19-20 Filmfare awards. Rediff info graphics staff should do some basic research.

This infographic is for bollywood alone.Filmfare for south is conducted separately from this. In southern filmfare kamalhassan holds the most i guess
Please take note that Kamalhassan has got 19 filmfares in 5 languages and in 2000 he wrote to filmfare requesting them not to consider him for any more awards. dont forget true legends.
Most interesting fact is that first Amitabh baned media then Stardust in alliance with other media baned Amitabh from media. Due to this for many years he was not even considered for any award by Filmfare , if it was not the case probably Shahrukh or Dilip will be far behind in tally.

In that case, Dilip Kumar should have won an award for each and every film he starred in . He was more than a treat to watch and an inspiration to all actors, big and small,in all his movies.

Yes the one mistake Filmfare did and cant be pardoned is not giving best actor award to AB for deewar Think that's the best movie of AB and no one ever will come close to his acting in that particular film

class are you joking, filmfare awardsare big shit, if class was the criteria then atleast one of the above mentioned actors would have won national award, perhaps kajol might have won, also amitabh won itfor agneepath

u r right brother. He should have got BEST ACTOR award for DEEWAR (1976), KAALA PATTHAR (1980), KHUDA GAWAH (1993), BEMISAL (1983). And BEST VILLAIN award for FAMILY (considering the fact that kAJOL won award for best negative character).Just because media couldn’t digest his success and they went against it. Any way he holds the highest no of nominations in BEST ACTOR category.
I have been following Filmfare since 1956-57 or even slightly earlier, In this age of sheen it seems to have lost its original SHEEN, In my opinion Filmfare awards are poorer by not awarding to Madhubala and Prithviraj Kapoor and Naushad in Mughal e Azam, Naushad in Mother India, and the Melody King Madan Mohan. The Management can think of Life time Achievements to such stalwards and can redeem its pledge which had been taken yet to reward those who had impacted Bollywood Films, The BhishmaPitamah V Shantaram whose movies were highly artistic and much ahead of its time.

Film makers are out there to make money . They want to make films for youth and thefilms appeal to youth , sir . So expecting them to be classy is waste of time . I hope you wont mind the explaination , its the bitter truth :)
