Fabulous cinematography and excellent performances makes this movie a good watch. Ranvir is fabulous and very energetic during the whole movie. He carries the entire movie on his shoulder. Deepika is gorgeous as ever and Priyanka had supported very well. But Tanvi Azmi as Ranvir ' s mom has stolen the show. The movie though could have been shortened by 20 - 30 mins. Overall will give it a 3/5

Are you kidding . The Entire move was spoiled by this Rotten and terrible actor(Ranveer's presence). Some other actor would have done a good job and made the movie watchable. Mind it had to leave the theatre after some time because he was a complete disaster and horrible. He should be banned from the film industry for ever - never again will even think of watching his movies. Ranveer give me back my money for torturing me - complete waste
sometimes 90% names and personality differ like akar means vikar patel being in someone NGO (not geting money organised) meaning begging has always twisting history.i almost stopped bangalore mirror subscribing.shame
Complete disappointment. A warrior who fought 42 battles without losing ever. Champion strategist who singularly established maratha kingdom beyond Delhi can compared only to Napolean for his bravery. Instead, what Bhansali has shown is a poor shadow of India's gem. At times, vulnerable and often slightly psychic which some might say is passionate. Mastani episode is a tiny portion of the life of great Maratha warrior. Bollywood idiots should avoid exploting history for pity commercial interests. Unfortunate to see Peswha dancing like a joker using words like - wat lavli. Tragic. Wish I could use same sword which was shown with Peshwa in the movie to spank Bhansali's BLACK A**. Don't twist history. ENOUGH OF TOLERENCE!

Absolutely true....Ranveer Singh dancing in Malhari song with his ponytail shaking was absolutely disgraceful & cheap. A great Bajirao had never done such kind of nonsense in his entire life... AND IF HE TALKS ABOUT CINEMATIC LIBERTY......THEN WHY SALIM WAS NOT SHOWN DANCING MADLY LIKE A MAWALI IN GREAT FILM MUGHAL-EAZAM? WHY K-ASIF DID NOT TAKE THAT LIBERTY?

No body dare to make such movie on any other religion's personality as Aquabar, Gurugobind Singh, Mohammad, etc. Even also on Shivaji, which is backed by majority of Maratha - Marathi hardliner. The Peshawa's were from today's poor Bramhan cast which totally alone in maharashtra in as Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir.
