Thank You
by kuldeep singh bedi on Aug 09, 2015 02:15 PM

Have been a ardent follower of Illustrated Weekly of India but first time got to know the personal Pritish Nandy, was wonderful to read about the Eccentric Genius of India.
Many Hurting words are still being written about Kishore Kumar about person who are jealous of him still . Still?
Why did he hurt these people who comment now here personally or they want to write abuse becuase its a inborn trait?
Thank you for Showing the Real Kishore Kumar from near, really always loved his voice his antics and everything about him........ will remember him to the end................ Amen

Madhubala was already unwell because of her heart condition. She knew she was going to die. They married because he wanted t take care of her, though he had little time as it was his own carrier forming then.

Cynic
Few musings Nandy
by Cynic on Aug 05, 2015 08:44 PM

In an otherwise interesting and open heart write up a few "cynic notings"
1. "...the most venerable magazine..." broadly speaking yes, except the period it was led by a sycophant during whose days it came to be known as Illustrated Weekly of Indira

2. Winter of 1982 - winter in Bombay?

But yes, interesting piece Pritish da, though once again it stinks of Banga Prem

One and only. The greatest singer ever produced by India (at least in modern singing)
