What a pleasant thing to read. When I first saw the trio logy, it was in may be 1959 or 60 at Vijaywad.I was a college student then. I saw the films for three days in a row.May be they stirred my young days in those days.Again when I read I feel so happy. These sycophant politicians have no time to people whom the whole world praise.

The greatest master of Indian cinema. For me personally, "Pather Panchali" is still his best.

The importance and respect foreigners give our cinematic and literary geniuses should open our eyes and shame us all ! If we don't take are of our heritage, who will ??? The Master's films are enjoyed the world over, but WB/WBFDC/Nandan do not have time and energy to preserve his children (films) for posterity. Very very sad state of affairs !!!
