First of all you journalists need to understand that You are not Raw or FBI agents to whom every question must be answered. To your own career gains people like you cross limits and get to personal with these celebrities. I mean Robert Downey was there to promote and talk about Avengers 2…Now Isn't that simple enough to stick to the topic and not get personal. If Somebody has a indifferent past why would you want to dissect it again and again for your personal gains. I would call that unprofessional and unethical Mr Mande. For me you are wrting like a jerk here.

True. Just because they have a pen in their hands they think they can ask any question as they have this misconception that they can make or break reputations.

This is sheer yellow journalism. There are certain limits and those MUST not be crossed.

I'd like to ask such journalists a few 'personal' questions and see how they respond!

If the only thing this artist wants to do is a promotion of their movie, they should just script a fake interview with another actor asking them ONLY the questions they look good answering. They can even run it as an hour-long infomercial on TV in between kawachi sunglasses and that miracle chinese hair growth formula.

The only reason they consent to interviews is that they don't want to make it LOOK like the promotional advert they WANT it to be. Being interviewed by a recognised TV channel with a well-known interviewer has benefits for them, even though it runs the risk of not being prepared for every question.

When it goes well, they come out looking good, when it does not, they storm out like this talented actor here.
