Only Kalki is best suited for this role of Laila Kapoor.The film is highly acclaimed for its presentation and performances.Should get an Oscar for an Indian entry.

poor bollywood when will they learn directions by great tamil directors ameer,bala,myskin,vasantabalan,kartik subbraj,nalan kumarasamy,gautam menon,etc.hope Bollywood audience gets chance to see these great master's work in near future

But they do need a serious representation on screen. they are part of society as well. But making a mockery and joke out of them on screen for a few laughs is wrong.

For example, turning mental patients into caricatures is a common trait in indian cinema. That is very offensive. If one has ever visited a mental asylum, he or she will know that it is a very somber place. There are no jokes to be found there.

Interesting point there.


There was a time when cinemas showed asylums to be an unending laugh riot. Now we know better.
