Many people across the world eat beef and we have not heard that they have suffered from any disease. So why ban eating beef? This is my most humble question.

Very significant
by Haramohan Roy on Apr 07, 2015 06:48 PM  | Hide replies

A man called Rabindranath Tagore had refused to ban the slaughter of cows in his zamindari more than a century ago, because he felt that such a ban would be unfair to those who ate beef. Now, we find a new move to ban beef. It is very significant to note that some Indians have not learnt from the past. I hope that this ban would not last long.

So eat beef in Bengal. Nobody stopped you. But if you live in Maharashtra, better follow the law or go to jail. Maybe you would learn some new lessons there.

I hope that the ban will be overturned by the hon'ble court. It has no logic. People eat beef worldwide and that poses no problem.

It won't be overturned. Not even a sickular govt will dare. And courts can't do squat. Because then even cow slaughter (not bull slaughter) will become ok and that will lead to riots. No court will dare.

Food must not be dictated by faith. We must not let faith dictate public policies.

Surprised

I am surprised over the spate of personal attacks on Ms Sunny Leone for her views on the ban on beef, which many think is completely unreasonable. The people who indulge in personal attack are poor on logic.

So long as you eat beef in a state where it is legal, no problem. Just don't try it in states where it is banned or you will find yourself behind bars for 5 years.

Whatever you think, it is the law of the land. Abide by the law or go to jail.

If you are not happy, you are always free to migrate where you can eat beef. Nobody stopped you.

very sad to hear this
by amit agarwal on Apr 07, 2015 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

madam really sad to learn that celebrities like you eat cows and feel so proud of it. have you ever estimated the pain which the animal goes through in just satisfying taste buds. when its tail is broken it is said by experts the pain is similar to as if someone breaks your finger bone by twisting it. all leather stuff should be banned and we should start using life time rexine. if you look at the product you cannot differentiate between leather and life time rexine. its extremely good quality rexine which does not easily wear and tear. One e.g. in practical use in india is in the indian railways. All the seat covers are made of rexine. there are lots of colours and it looks really great. We also need to crack down on breeding of animals. just as we respect women we need to respect animals. people need to understand that it represents planet ketu and ketu in turn represents children of an individual in a horoscope. if you harass any animal it is a guarantee that your children will face a similar or some kind of sad events in life.

Mr Amit, please stop eating vegetables too, because Jagadish Chandra Bose had proved decades ago that plants and trees too have lives.
