You are right Arun. But which state in India can boast of 100% literacy? Why drum beating about pot holes and 'bar' culture. All states in India are having pot holes after monsoon and Supreme Court has intervened in the matter of Bar. Drinking in a bar is not against any culture.

i don't know why kerala is called 100% literacy state. i was there for 15 days (north kerala) and it was very difficult to communicate with others. 95% of the people don't know any language except malayalam. no english, no hindi. in shops i used to ask in kannada because of some similar words. for communication u have to learn malayalam

kerala state all Govt offices are very slow in functioning ,even most of person working there don't know rules and administration and Punctuality ,,last time small issue I need to visit village office for 6 times ,,Its Mr.Modi like disciplined people require to correct kerala Administrative system.
