Is it a review of a film or a social message?

Review the pro's and cons of the movie, no issues. When you bring your social views into the equation, it stops being a review. According to you, rich people's lives don't exist in India and their stories don't need to be told. Only poor people should feel 'emptiness' within! Why do you want to laugh at the rich people?

What are you trying to say with the below comments?
"I'm sorry but in a country where a kilo of potatoes cost a staggering Rs. 30, it is a little difficult not to laugh at people in branded suits, crying over their cheesecake and champagne, about the emptiness they feel inside."

When the Danny Boyles of the world choose to showcase only the 'ugly' underbelly of India and gleefully peddle poverty, what's wrong in an Indian filmmaker telling the story of rich Indians? Do you forget the fact that the collective net worth of some of the richest in India amounts to a whopping $935 billion - nearly half of India's GDP?

If you can't digest it, watch re-runs of SlumDogmillionnaire.
PS: How come you never scoff at the Chopra-Johar kind of cinema, with its unrealistic kitsch-y NRI rich stuff? Is it because they give you a hamper of cheap wine and biryani for writing their reviews?
