forget the quality of the film; what bothers me is the quality of the pathetic lot who go and pay to see such rubbish; it is embarrassing to have such an aesthetically starved audience.
Irrespective of the mixed reviews from the critics and others, I went to the movie. I felt is was good entertaining and time pass movie. Without any logic movie entertains you and keeps you engaged for 3 hrs. It should not be taken so seriously about the logic good bad or ugly. There are some movies made for certain generation of people mass or class. Indian movies are like that if you make movies only for entertainment without any logic then HNY is certainly good. Just take for example a kannada movie LUCIA, it was a path breaking movie in all the aspects made with innovative idea, script, entertainment everything. However if you subject that movie to a mass audience, he may just say what hac it is. So depends on how we attract audience to the theaters. Earlier movie use to run for 50 weeks then it is called as superhit. Now a movie can earn 100 crore in a day just because of the star status. Same movie HNY just replace sharukh khan with some other new actor, it would have been a biggest flop of the year. Here I am not praising SRK but he can manage laziest of the script. He does repetitive acting, repetitive dilogous but still people are not bored even after 2 decades. They want to see him in such roles.So whom to blame people or actors.
Nauseating attitude of the Director towards audience; it seems she thinks that the Indian movie-goers are fools. Unsuccessful effort of copying Hollywood movies, but making dirt of it. Better see a Hollywood movie itself. Trash this movie.
