Farha Khan's direction. She has proved to be a better director than producer. She is brilliant, most talented and one of the best directors of the films in this industry and definitely the best amongst women directors. Producers' confidence in her is the greatest entrepreneurship. Producers are congratulated in advancing the cause of entertainment and taking great risk in investmnet with this Director.
In the good olden days of Indian cinema, actors became stars by acting in excellent movies and now the movies are made block busters by the stars acting in the film. A mindless comedy by a team of wonderful actors and a popular director.

Its third grade.I think nowdays script,storyline,acting etc does not matter to make movie hit.The only thing that matter is marketing that Shahrukh and Saroj duo are best at.
It is a hit movie just because of the festive season and a multi-starer film tag. Otherwise there is no strong story line, songs are ordinary except one. There are repeatation of the film dialogue from the old hits. It is just watchable movie if you want do not have any other option to pass time...
Happy New Year has its up and downs....mostly downs then ups. There are several laughs in the movie but nothing exceptional. Deepika is stunning, Abhishek Bachan exceptional, Shahrukh Khan is ok, Boman Irani is cute, Vivaan Shah is confused. Storyline is slow and the first half just does not pick up. Music and choreography is good. Farah Khan disappoints especially after her incial movies.
One time watch if you don't have anything to do and specifically not worth spending more than 100-150 for the movie. No logic, No story. Some comedy by Boman and Abhishek are good and couple of songs. Shahrukh and Deepika are good but not at their best. So just to spend some good time, you can watch but nothing like missing something if you dint watch it.

yes,for you people every movie is a must one time watch!!! Or else,how will these filmwallahs earn in trillions!!!
yup its true there is bunch of lope holes but still it is good movie to watch with family comedy by abhishek n boman is osm..else is ok..one time watch movie...
