shahid, haider is a bad movie. do not live in falsehood about its merits where a handful of junk critics have praised it. visit the cinema halls and see the audience laugh at it and come out bored to death. also look at the collections, which are pathetic.

call whatever to the critics, they have done their job. The people who were bored to death were conned into watching the movie. Hence, I often say people must be cautious when watching movies in theaters, especially movies that are claimed to be greater than the greatest. People can watch all types of movies, but is theatre the only medium.
I am born and brought up in Mumbai, my wife happens to be from kashmir born and brought up there in heart of Srinagar. She said this movie showed the real plight of kashmiri people during peak militancy days in early 90's, each and every scene, language used and story was very real like situation like rounding up people and identifying real militants. Some people say army was shown in bad light, but in real life whenever there is large presence of army in thickly populated civilized area human right violation is bound to happen. One army personal at every 100 feet takes away freedom of movement, kids playing in open ground, people not able to go out after 7 PM, crushing a movement and people voice, interrogating, entering and breaking house without permission and taking the men of their home and putting in jail in unknown location, secret encounter resulting in thousands of missing is the case why Kashmiri people hate India in general.
The result was 52% women from valley face medium to serious mental depression, kids grow in fear, their right to raise voice is suppressed. Along with Pak infiltration and sending militants in India, not many knows Indian policies on Kashmir created lot of internal problems both for army and kashmiri public in general. Along with them of course people of Jammu who lived like refugees in camp too had lot of painful stories. What is the cause? Both India and Pakistan are not able to find solution to kashmir

how do you take the plight of Kashmiri Pandits and game of seferatists and terrorist do they exist in Kashmir or not ? one side story is highlighted in extreme, without mentioning the sufferings of Army and security personals. You are biased since the beginning in your comments and never ever appreciated Army actions.
