2 stars for 3 IDIOTS and 5 stars for HAIDER...This shows what kind of garbage this Rajasen is made of..just because some film maker mentions shakespear's name, this hypocrite prepared himself not to give less than 5 stars..as part of SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAAN why cant Rediff get rid of this filth called Rajasen?

I think a polluted mind like yours which aprreciates only loud action movies and familiar bump-and-ground routines should be swept away first.
This film is not at all Hamlet based movie. Its more of Kashmir movie with pro-separatists leanings. I was a fan of vishal Bharadwaj and watched all his movies but this movie really disappointed me a lot. Vishal seems to have joined the bandwagon of people who try get name and fame maligning his own country, military and people. I don't want to spend too much time in criticsing vishal as this starts serving as oxygen for the kind people of this mindset. Vishal way to go make next film critising your own religion and then get some international awards. Good show man.

So Hamlet must only be in Scotland, not in any other place! Speaks a lot about your intellect.
I saw the movie without any knowledge of hamlet and the film seemed to me like another bollywood krap presented artistically. At least other kraps doesn't pretend to be an intelligent film. haider seemed just another illogical, inconsistent film without proper resolution.
But after I read the hamlet story then the whole film made sense. But even then there were many points that were krap.

For example in original hamlet the lead character is in real confusion because he was not sure of the father's ghost side of the story but here I didn't understand why haider was confused when everything was clear with evidence that his uncle is the culp$rit.
If his uncle informed the army about the doctor then why there is drama created of identifying the person and the house of doctor etc the army could directly attttack doctor;s house. and why tabu is shown as villian throughout the film and suddenly towards the end she is shown as a good person - this was deliberate cheat$ing.
so the statement "A film one has to live through, not just watch" yet again shows how our so called intelligencia is fooled by artistic presentation of the same old illogical craaaps coming out of bollywood. More importantly this shows how this so called intelligent critics pretend to be intelligent.

I think, now Raja Sen start taking bribe from producer, and give 5* such an idiot film. I never read hamlet and not a fan of shakespeare. As i see story, story is no where. Nothing has direction. I agree kashmir shot brilliantly but story, neither on indian side nor on kashmiri side or not even about paskistani side. One Morning Vishal Bahrdwaj get up and make a movie as people are fool and see anything. He completely lost his touch after 7 khoon maaf. now its 9th khoon. Want to say one thing, From Himalaya to Afghanistan India was one, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari , India was one. Now many parts created. only I want to say, "Dhoodha mango ge tau kheer denge. Kashmir mango ge tau cheer denge. "

Because of rediff's rating (5*) I watched this film. But it was not up to the mark what rediff was rated as 5*. Shahid kapoor and tabu's perfomances was excellent and story is also bit fine but unwanted scenes making the audience to get irritated and bored at most of the time.
I can give 2.5* for this movie due to shahid kapoor and tabu's outstanding performances. I understand it depicts the brilliant story line of kashmiris and beauty of kashmir but regarding the story, story lacks in the middle and very slow motion of story. Shaid's best performance ever.... If rediff rated like this (5*), then how I can trust rediff in future???

you should have read 'hamlet' before going to this movie...then you can relate more to this movie..i think it was really a nice adaptation of shakespeare
I watched this movie, it is a really true story. For a common man who has gone through all the scenes practically shown in film, it is a total recall of past. It is really worth film to watch for those for whom feelings and emotions matter and not the good to watch for the one who wants the world only look using his own perspective. It is not always good to approach things using your own approach, opposite also can be correct. Best part i liked is singing grave diggers in the film, Really 5 stars from my side
5 stars for a utter cr@p boring movies ??? north ppl only intrested in seeing hrithik abs and katrina legs.. haider is a disaster in BO ..next time better make a p0rNN movie with hrithik & katrina.. it'll become the Blockbuster and collect 2000 crs in 2 days
