Not sure whether Adoor has told such a thing, but if he is pro-English and have told such a thing, then he should be driven away from India. Much of Indians have the mentality of thinking that those who speak and know English are of high calibre and status when the actual fact is that they are scared of competition from people who knows only regional languages. Such a shame that a respected filmmake can make a statement like that. At the end, most of the Indians are still mental slaves of British, their culture and language.
