So True ...

... the biggest thing is that the film makers are not concentrating on a good story rather just remaking lavishly. Spending all the money for nothing. But you can't blame them too because people are watching and giving them as hits !!!

I did not saw this movie , but I am looking forward to it...Mr. Sathyu .... movie is about entertainment ... its very easy to make people cry ...but very difficult to entertain them...100 crore means net business not gross... at city like Bangalore its obvious very few peoples watching Hindi movies..
any way, about Swades it was very good observation ..I never thought about that..

mumbai produces films for entertainment and money earning.for art films no one will invest.branding good or bad is one;s own opinion.you give a chance dust will turn in to gold.question who directs and story of the film.music and other services are equally important.films shall be reflection of society and its acceptance.

thanx for the plain talk Mr.

The reason why Dabaang becomes a hit is because indians are pusillanimous in their DNA. So they like anything macho although the hero is corrupt to the bone.

Its the same phenomenon with why there are so many MODI chaaatuuus

Very Right about Deepika
by Sujeet Singh on Nov 17, 2014 12:11 PM  | Hide replies

Had many expectation from Deepika. But she proved everyone wrong. Doing all hit movies while not trying to perform in any of them. Wearing skimpy clothes to maintain her popularity.

What about that big show-off Priyanka! Who does not wear skimpy clothes. If Kalki Koechlin wears skimpy clothes will she be a success? Malaika wears tons of make-up and hires the best make-up artistes to hide her wrinkles. It is that only some starlets get all the flak.

wow.thats good to read.after watching Happy New year which is total bulshit, I decided to stop move away from these khans who lost unlearned many things after seeing success. Akshay Kumnar is better, honest. My son who is in school after seeing Happy New Year questioned ,this is the kind of movie you want to see?idiot filmmakers!!Time can change but there are always takers for good films which these directors dont understand bcos they are mentally challenged. Thabks MS Sathyu for your bold comment. Deepika learn some acting too .take tips from Maduri, Sridevi, Taboo and Shabanaji if u want to sustain.

Appreciate Mr. Sathyu and you are very right about todays films. Barfi was a very nice film. And Akshay kumar's pre-declared light mood comedies are good. Rest is bullshit

I agree with Sathyu to a certain extent

Today movies are made for the masses a corp orates like fox studios, waltdisney, utv, etc pour in millions of dollars. They just want return on investments. They are least bothered about creativity. They just want to mesmerized the audience with the music, locations, and hundred crore club
