well, music is not just marvellous addition but an entity in itself for this film. music is it's heart & takes the film to an ethereal level altogether.
We watch this movie at Home. A DVD from Moserbear, We full family enjoyed this movie humty no of times. Hats off to entire Team of this AMAR PREM Movie. What a Decent Movie to Watch.

If only we had more n more movies of this type rather than all the shit garbage stuff that's made with Middle East Money n passed of as Movies nowadays.
i would like to mention one thing. the character of bindu is not bad character. she is a stepmom but i think she was good by her side. not like other stepmom's in hindi movies

This film was made when Rajesh Khanna was at the peak and yet its a off-beat role which he did without having any commercial melodrama. Shaktida films have always given prominence to female characters and Sharmila Tagore got the best of roles under his direction.
I was too young to see this movie when it was released but saw it on Doordarshan in the 80s and liked it very much.
