Modi runs a democracy
by Varadarajan Ravindran on May 08, 2014 08:14 AM  | Hide replies

Mahesh Bhatt must understand that Narendra Modi is expected to run a democracy. In a democracy, majority rights must be respected before you consider minority rights. Bhatt wants minority-ism instead of majority-ism in the model of the Nehru dynasty starting from Indra Gandhi. According to him the lower and upper middle classes have no right. Only the super-rich and the ultra-poor have all the rights; so much so that only the elites like the members of the Nehru dynasty and the useless poor who do not produce anything have the rights. Modi feels that everyone should have equal rights, while Bhatt feels that Hindu middle classes do not have any rights while middle classes among Christians and Muslims must have greater rights. Bhatt's model will not pass muster and will at in America, Britain and other democracies besides India. I doubt whether Bhatt's premise will be accepted even in undemocratic nations like the off-shoots of the erstwhile Soviet Union and its satellites as well.

For Mahesh Bhatt, minority rights are important when it suits him or his community, not when other minorities are suffering in Muslim dominated countries. People like these should preach to their fellow ilk in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE etc. don't these countries need secular values?

N.Modi ruled Gujarat for more than 12 years and he has not done anything for the mass.
Infant mortalities in Gujarat is more than 60%
Malnutrition in Gujarat is – more than 67%
No education for villagers in Gujarat.
No pakka house or pakka road in villages of Gujarat.
No primary health services in anywhere in Gujarat (PHC has been shut down).
No drinking water in villages of Gujarat.
No govt. job for educated gujaratis,
No social justice in Gujarat, No land reforms in Gujarat.
Gujarat is the most corrupt state in our country.
If there is a govt. job gujarat, it is on contract basis that too with a very meager salary. (Rs. 3000 to 4000 pm)

Please go to places, talk to at least few hundred people, see by your own eyes and then make your own judgement. Everything else is rubbish.
