Having read the 2states,I was disappointed that the tamil girl chose a chetan with hardly any looks unlike normal punjabi handsome boys. But love is blind and this is obvious. Also shows looks always do not matter particularly for girls.
After decades of caricaturing south indians, punjabis of all people are complaining? If anything Bollywood has for 50 years seriously caricatured and stereotyped south indians to the point of being tasteless.
if there is any Bollywood movie based on inter-cast or inter state marriage or relationship, why the boy always belongs to Punjab? Isn't there any handsome, smart boy from other state? I like Punjabi bhangra, but why most of the time Bollywood movie include Punjabi songs instead songs/folks from other states as well. Example are very less. In reality why most of the heroes are either Punjabi or Khan? It seems like Bollywood is very biased towards Punjabies. May be they are so rich bought the industry. Being in a secular and diverse country, it would be nice to see heroes from other states, songs from other region and real hero (actor) from other states as well. I strongly support inter cast and inter state marriage and relationship but not like only Punjabi groom and bride from any other state.

Lungiwalas. Very respectful indeed of south indians. As if wearing a bedtime pyjamas during the day is any better.
I wonder why is Bollywood so biased against towards the s1khs. They hv been shown quite horribly in most bollywood films, mostly as cl0wns. Whereas in reality s1khs hv the most brilliant minds in our country. They hv excelled in all fields and hv made valuable contribution to the country in various fields.

If you remember the movies from the 70s and 80s most of the main or respectable characters will be VermaSahib, SinhaSahib, KhanSahib, etc. Bollywood entirely panders to hindiBelltAudience. Sikkhhs, Tammillians, Benggallis, etc are just there to be made fun of. It continues to this day. I have watched only 4 or 5 bollywood movies in the last 10 to 12 years. Enough of this stereotyping.
