Where are you living What do you know about the business of Chennai Express? It did exceptionally high business in South India rather than North India, see BOI report below:

Chennai Express will finish with a little over 208 crore nett with its run almost over. The film is the highest grosser ever with stand out performances in the South Indian Indian markets. In Nizam/Andhra it went 45% higher than the previous top grosser, in Mysore the final figure went 30% higher while Tamil Nadu/Kerala went a huge 80% higher.
