Well, someone like Radhika Rajamani or Pavithra Srinivasan will write a review, showering all praises, only to see that the Rediff editor has ultimately given it the standard 2.5 stars. In 5 year's time, Boney Kapoor will remake it in Hindi, suffocating it with Punjabi songs, Punjabi dance and truckloads of masala, taking away the core flavour of the original. Then would come the likes of Sukanya Verma, Taran Adarsh etc. who will praise t to bits and give it 4.5 stars, and pull down the original version by saying, "...despite a South remake, the film is so well shot and acted and is a box office winner!" The key word here is, "despite".
