...bcos v were paid by the new 'khobbsurat' makers, thus this is a paid feature. Anytime a remake is releasing, rediff will revisit the original n earn some bucks. now raja sen is going to give minimum of 3.5 stars to this movie or more but not less as he is in good terms with sonam as sonam mentioned about this on KWK.

So what else do you expect in an era of remakes, remixes etc.? None have original brains nowadays n ONLY resort to shortcuts like blatantly thieving old things.
It is beyond me why these classics need to be remade especially these type of classics of Hrishida. The foremost thing is times have changed beyond recognition especially after 90s liberlization with now money being the foremost motive of existence and everybody running 24x7 to "achieve" something in life. The innocence from the life has gone, small pleasures in small things of life have gone, which was there in the era when these type of films were made . Also, the class of actors who were all masters in their respective roles cannot be replicated. Instead why not try to make movies relevant to the times only. These type of classics are always destined to fail in the first place because they will always be compared to the original which has happened many times before.

role of director/producer is undoubtedly the most important but others too had contributed significantly in the past though contribution of fresh and charming faces is negligible due to matured new born babies and...
why is it required to tamper & taint the classics? There will never be another Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Ashok Kumar, Dina Pathak, Rekha or any of those genuine actors/ lyricists/ music directors....what a waste of money!
If Sonam manages to score even 1/10th of the charisma of Rekha, this new Khubsurat could still be watchable...else it will just be another dumb remake...
