Media, Critics and Bachchan

The media can never ever be critical of Amitabh Bachchan. How can the King be ever wrong? Who has the guts to be critical of him>Can anyone dare to criticise the SUPER STAR???

Amitabh Bachchan is ultimate. i can spend as many hours as possible in a day to see him acting. If he is there, nothing can be bad... that is always enjoyable... Great going Sir....

Acting and Amitabh? lolz. Even after 40 years in film industry he could not learn acting. Only people with low IQ watch bollywood movies and made him so called superstar

This Yudh reminds of Shanti one of the earliest mega serials. The same type of atmosphere, music, sets, corporate giants and their moods, etc... Many a time, I felt the dialog delivery and slow pacing of movements are like Shanti. I don't know whether the director is same?

With this slow pacing, I doubt whether this serial keep the audiences attracted to the TV.

The Lord as Yudh is mind blowing !
by Tarun Bhatnagar on Jul 16, 2014 11:06 AM  | Hide replies

I saw the 2nd episode yesterday and it is mind numbing sometimes to see the level at which The Lord(Amitabh Bachchan) performs in front of the camera. His reaction to the sudden injection of a tranquilizer and then how he slowly moves into a sleep through his eyes ...OMG its just incredible. Anurag Kashyap is too intelligent, innovative and evolved to let the show drag on without any cohesion and logic. Nothing is perfect in this world and we shouldn't expect a TV series to be...But I am sure I'll watch each episode now...for The Lord and his tale of emotions, expressions and the most real but still surreal level of artistry...Raja Sen ji, please review your review !!

Absolutely, AB is matchless on the globe. No one can perform better than Bachhan Sir. Episode 2 was wonderful.

Too slow. Story started with many links and to see how that takes shape. Being a Bachchan oriented saga , that too on a late night episode , the starting should have been fast phased.

Wrong way.
by Sudershan Shukla on Jul 15, 2014 06:28 PM

It was a wrong way of introducing characters and the audio is horrible. There is a disconnect with the audience perhaps due to over confidence. Direction is very very poor. I may not continue watching this if the same continues in the second episode.

Disappointing!!
by Harsha Vardhana on Jul 15, 2014 06:04 PM

Watched the first episode yesterday with great expectations, lost interest half way through it. Slow pacing, couldn't follow the dialogues in many places, which was a big turn off. Though better than the present mindless daily soaps (which is expected considering the star cast, budget etc.), it still is a disappointing start. Hope it gets better.
