chandrasekar, we are from Tamil Nadu too. Kochadaiyaans Tamil version is not a hit but just a below average grosser. Movies like Manjappai, Yamirukka Bayamen and Vallavanukku Pullum Ayudam were profitable, whereas Koch tanked in the box office. The movie found it tough even to cross the 50 day mark.

Dont count Kochadiyan as Rajani film. Its after all animation film directed by a poor director , his own daughter cashing in on her fathers legacy. As some body from out side tamil nadu and has been to its soil, if orginal figures of his last release Robot is released then you will be surprised to see it may have crossed even Rs 500 crore ya sure Dhoom 3 will not be the highest grosser. Remember last time his movie figures was released was chandramukhi and in that his fees was 40 crore. In hindi life of a movie in theater is less than 30 days. But is TN people watch an Original Rajani movie ( no animation please) 100 times in Theater just to worship him.

False information. Chandramukhi did not touch even 100 crores. It was Dasavatharam which made 137 crores - the first ever 100cr movie in Tamil. Chandramukhi ran 800 days but overall collections were lesser than Sivaji. Also nobody watches Rajini movie 100 times in theatre. If that is true, Baba should have become at least a decent hit. Please stop spreading such silly rumours.
Instead of commenting on the worst tamil films, we find the learned tech-savvy young indian minds are commenting each other that too in nonsense manner. Tragedy indeed.

The daughter thought selling her tired father in 3 D animation will be success. But the audience are clever.

Thats a wrong opinion. There are hundreds of Tamil movies which are much better than the average bollywood cinema.
Rediff please stick to your bollywood junks. You people wont understand Tamil cinema. KOchadaiyaa is a SUPERHIT and you have included here in worst film list.

perfect lie. It is not a loss in Tamil Nasu. It can not get the great distinction of Hit Mr. Rajin Fan. See all the websies and all news about Kochdian. Do not just spend your time worshiping Ranini Kanth. I too like him but I am not one of the mad fans of celebreties.
