Bad remake of DDLJ, promotion of Punjabiyat in full swing, even includes a punjabi song, hahahaah,, why is this called a hindi film,, it shld be called regional punjabi film..
I did see this movie. Would not have missed anything if I'd not seen this movie. Jokes and many plots in these movies are simply cheesy and make us doubt where on the earth we live. Hence, cheap quality comedy is better assessment. Pre-Marital, extra-marital and homo-gender affairs is something which "spice" which story needs to be relevant throughout. Storyline DDLJ?? DDLJ is movie of different times but ...old formula punjabi, masala, Bollywood spice and yash chopra romance (included pre/extra marital homo-gender romance ) and culture ..... To me it is more of patchwork and does not look like a design. Director should really check if was doing their job or they were in rotation. In one sense this movie is path breaking - it makes boys and object of attraction for boys I.e. gays .... Never so much consideration for them was in any movie. In a way that what Karan Johar would pay for and more. We should now realise why such movies make money because they are path breaking cheesie. Some dialogues ... I cannot leave smoking because that will be to 'change myself' but 'jogging is to better myself' reflects the quality of direction.
Going to theatre is not worth going for wait for it to come on tv.
