movie journalism in India still seems to be stuck in the 70-80s. The mindset about the number games, actors and actresses competing to be number one still haunts our film journos. On the contrary, hindi and even regional movies are trying to break this mindset of the audiences, and experimenting with various subjects. Youngsters entering into this profession are looking at the script and the technical team more than the glamour quotient in their characters. Even seasoned and veteran actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor are trying to get out of any moulds that restrict an actor an his range. Please grow up, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt do no sign movies for getting number one spot, coz there are no such things. Salman Khan and SRK do not get up and start fighting to make their movies hit, its their choice of subjects that matter.
