These movies are good movies for serious audiences it has only substances in them but not entertainment. Audiences looking for entertainment for 2-3 hours with some substance in it, none of these movies will make it to final ten. May be because of the seriousness of the subject, majority of these 10 movies did not become blockbuster at box office. But, thank you Mr Sen for listing these movies - at least I will watch them if someone one offers me free BR or DVD.

If Sen says movie is good, then do not go to multiplex to watch that movie but wait for one of the TV channel to broadcast it. Chennai express is best time pass movie but Sen's yard stick is different.
i wonder it this is the list of best movies or worst movies. It has become fashionable nowadays to declare boring movies which may put audience to sleep as good movies
Such movies as listed here makes one think that Hindi movies are slowly but surely coming of age and are willing to deal with themes other than boy meets girl or vendetta begets vendetta.
