By this yardstick, they should also stop wearing cosmetics or perfumes which contain basic elements that are prepared from animal, reptile, fish, bird flesh or bones. Or then wool which is sheared from live sheep, injuring them with cuts or shears. All this publicity stunts by so called filthy rich n their paid media supporting them is just BS.

Wool is like shaving, it doesn't hurt anybody and regarding injuries during shearing, blame it on the person doing it. They are not supposed to get injured during that.
What right do these veggies have to tell us not to eat fish. Tomorrow they will try to say that plants to have life and they too should not be eaten. Let them say whatever they want because there will always be veggies & NON-VEGGIES.

Yes India is civilized because it protected and allowed any other religion to fluorish on this earth. Now people are taking undue advantages of their generosity.

That is little extreme, but if you have noticed, during fasts most items which are allowed are just derivatives of living being not the living being itself. No grains food.
