He cheered them on while ploughing and seeding each others fertile lands. He was amazed at the violent plunder of family jewels. A trace of sadness creeped in when reminded of his own barren land, remembering the last time it was tilled while fertile.

These kids are amateurs, he thought, compared to the legends of the 70s and 80s. But amateurs give a different high. Given some time, he could make them more mature and complete. He could train them in the delicate art. Smoothen the rough edges.Or rather give them some rough edges, he smiled to himself, considering how smooth and oily they were. The very thought of the 70s and 80s bought goosebumps. Those were the days when he had a rich and fertile land.

He used to lease out his land to one of the big guys to be ploughed and tilled whenever he wished. In return his land was gaurded from other hawks. To ensure the fertility of his land, he would lease it to different people, with different seeds.

He hoped these young and hot guns would warm up his innards. He would happily give them a back door entry.
