It was stereotype film describing tamilaians as "madrasis". In the college no other student seems to exist as alia & kapur were not interacting any other students. Also not understood why Alia described herself as pure Brahmin and ate non-veg dishes. Was it a deliberate attempt to malign a community? Some of the dialogues showing the interaction between would be mother in law- would be daughter in law, mother-son were good, the convocation scene between in laws(e.g. mother to Kapur -I am already tired of ur father, don't tire me & kitchen scene for cooking between prospective daughter in law & mother in law).
