You should have told this to Qasim from Mosul to stop conversions in Sind and stop the slaughter of King Daheer
If a book offends you, don't read it. If a TV show hurts your sensibilities, just switch to another channel or program. If you don't like a movie, just don't go to the theatre or multiplex to watch it.
So whether it is Satanic verses or Lajja or Vishwaroopam or PK, if you don't like it, just ignore it.
Nobody has the right to decide for others, what is permissible or allowed

Robert Jackson, the legendary former United States Attorney General (1940–1941) and an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court (1941–1954 had famously said
"The price of freedom of religion, or of speech, or of the press, or of the Arts, is that we must put up with a good deal of rubbish"
What is rubbish or not is our own personal viewpoint.
