GEC Programmes on Indian Hindi channels are really Dumb..Idiotic.. And makes us loose our temper with the sheer stupidity of all the characters.. No matter how “unique” the show is touted to be it is pushed into the gutters of sheer filth of backstabbing, scheming, people in love with others spouses and a long suffering meek confused gazelle of a girl as the central character in a few weeks of its launch. That is the sole reason why my a'la carte package includes discovery and its channels, NGC and its channels. My movie channels, news channels and Entertainment channels are all purely in English. Basically it's a PR piece for a new book/show (whatever) but amusingly given a misleading title, "The REAL reason why TV shows are going wrong" which led me believe that i will get analysis/insights on Indian television soap industry. Just my feedback
there are number of channels and serials are there almost whole day... Most families have one TV and view only one serial despite having different choices... therefore top TRP serials might not be good or popular ...UNAVOIDABLE situation
