I beg to differ on KB's greatness in one aspect. With the exception of 'Thaneer Thaneer' where the heroine removes her mangalsutra and throws it at her husband, disowning him, most of his movies ended up with the protagonists accepting staus quo and convention, rather than taking revolutionary steps. I do appreciate him for raising controversial subjects though.
Rediff, it's great that you want to pay tribute to KB. However, it's not good to see idiotic factual errors - Rajnikant's first movie, Music Director of Varumayin Niram Sivappu etc.
The Best Director In India as far as picturing the personal emotions and story telling. Unfortunatly his best is not seen by Bollywood but have seen them as remakes..but originals were better than Hindi versions..

server sundaram is directed by krishnan panju and not kb . kb only wrote dialogues.
1. Thillu Mullu - It was a masterstroke to cast Rajini who was mainly portraying negative and side characters in a full length comedy 2. Ethir Neechal 3. Bama Vijayam 4. Naan Avan Illai - A movie well ahead of its time!
